Cheminova has decided once a year to prepare a statement concerning the company’s conditions regarding social responsibility, safety, health and environment and to publish the report on the company website.
The background for the decision is that several of Cheminova’s interested parties need more and better information about the company’s activities and efforts in these areas - also known as Corporate Social Responsibility.
The CSR reporting on our website must be considered a supplement to the company’s other reporting concerning for instance commercial and financial conditions communicated through both Cheminova’s and the parent company Auriga’s medias.
In the annual statements, reporting will be made on selected CSR aspects and objectives laid down on specific areas.
The main subjects of the CSR report 2006 are the safe use and phase-out of the most toxic pesticides in the Third World countries, environmental aspects in relation to the company’s production facilities in India and Denmark, and supplier management.
