Impact® is able to rapidly penetrate the outer layers of the leaves resulting in very fast uptake. The fast uptake in turn means that there is very low sensitivity to rain after application (high rain-fastness).

The product moves very quickly within the plant and starts working immediately, ensuring that fungal diseases, which are already attacking the plant are rapidly eradicated. The rapid curative effect means that flutriafol is an ideal partner for preventive fungicides like the strobilurines.

Protection against fungal diseases also starts immediately due to the rapid distribution of the product in the plant. With products of slower redistribution there is a higher risk of disease establishing in new or unprotected growth. The distribution properties also mean that unfolded leaves are protected via the stem. The protection of leaves, which have not emerged, is very important in rapidly developing crops such as cereals.

Impact® is therefore effective both before and at the onset of infection.

• With chlorothalonil (Impact Excel®, Cicero®, Impact Super®)

The addition of chlorothalonil offers the benefit of an increased disease spectrum in cereals (against Fusarium and Rhyncosporium). The mixture has also shown excellent efficacy in peas and beans.

• With carbendazim (Impact R®, Impact RM®, Yellow®, Early Impact®)

This product is mainly used in early applications in cereals. Carbendazim offers additional control of eyespot (Pseudocercosporella herpotrichoides) in cereals as well as excellent broad spectrum control in sugar beet ensuring that all important diseases are covered.
