Cereals

Vincit® controls the major seed-borne pathogens in cereals. Smuts (Ustilago spp.) and bunts (Tilletia spp.) are particularly well controlled but some control of Fusarium spp., Septoria, and barley leaf stripe (Pyrenophora graminea) is also achieved.

Control of Bunt

Bunt is a key seed disease in wheat. In particular, stinking bunt (Tilletia caries) is a problem throughout the world.

Vincit® is particularly effective in controlling this disease.

A very high and reliable level of control of bunt (Tilletia caries) was confirmed in 27 trials throughout the world using different rates of Vincit®.

Control af smut

Smuts, particularly loose smut (Ustilago nuda), are very significant diseases in barley but wheat can also be infected, as illustrated below.

A very high and reliable level of control of loose smut (Ustilago nuda) was observed in 21 trials using different rates of Vincit®.
