In 2001, Cheminova acquired the triazole fungicide flutriafol from Syngenta. The product is the first seed treatment fungicide sold globally by Cheminova and is known under the trademark Vincit®. Flutriafol is registered in more than 50 countries throughout the world.

Vincit® is the well-known global trademark used for flutriafol seed treatment products. Vincit® is one of very few compounds to reach and disinfect the inner core of the seed. The product thereby provides excellenct control of embryo borne diseases, in particular bunt (Tilletia caries) and smuts (Ustilago spp.). In addition some control of Fusarium spp. and barley leaf stripe (Pyrenophora graminea) is also achieved. The systemicity of Vincit® ensures that the product is readily re-distributed throughout emerging seedlings.
