In 1987, Cheminova decided to produce glyphosate and started developing its own production process and registration data package. 6 years later - in 1993 - the company commenced production and introduced glyphosate under its own Glyfos® brand. Glyfos has now been introduced in more than 50 countries world-wide and it is our most important glyphosate formulation. However, Cheminova is continuously developing new and improved formulations such as Glyfos Envision® – a more environment-friendly product manufactured using Envision Technology®.
