Background

Dimethoate is a systemic organophosphorous insecticide and acaricide developed and introduced by American Cyanamid, BASF and Montecatini in 1955. Cheminova began producing dimethoate under the trade name Danadim® in 1976.

 

Cheminova is marketing technical dimethoate, traditional EC formulations and mixtures, and has developed a special stabilized formulation, Danadim® Progress.
