Fyfanon® ULV for grasshopper and locust control

Cheminova has great expertise in the control of grasshoppers and locusts and considers this an important part of its mission to control unwanted insects. In several regions of the world grasshoppers and locusts threaten the food supply of many people due to the total devastation of crops, the insects may cause.

Fyfanon® ULV has shown excellent efficacy against most species of locusts and grasshoppers in all parts of the world. However, it is particularly effective against Schistocera gregaria, the African Desert Locust, which is by far the most injurious species due to its ability to rapidly increase population size under favourable growth conditions and to migrate over large distances.

In North-West Africa Fyfanon® has been widely used as an effective mean to control grasshopper and locust plagues. Furthermore Fyfanon® ULV formulations have been used safely and effectively for more than four decades in grasshopper and locust control both in private, federal and state management programmes directed by the US Department of Agriculture (USDA).

Fyfanon® ULV is your responsible choice for locust control

  • Fyfanon® ULV is one of the most effective insecticides registered for locust control
  • Fyfanon® ULV has very low toxicity in humans and animals
  • Fyfanon® ULV has short residual effect
  • Fyfanon® ULV does not accumulate in either soil, water or air
