Gamma-cyhalothrin is the most active pyrethroid in the world, offering broad-spectrum control of insect pests in a wide range of agricultural crops.

Gamma-cyhalothrin has use rates that are among the lowest for any insecticide. Low use rates translate into less active ingredient in the environment.

Gamma-cyhalothrin is manufactured at Cheminova's factory in Denmark. The joint venture company, Pytech Chemicals, is now wholly owned by Cheminova. Pytech Chemicals has been responsible for worldwide registration and market development activities.
