This Privacy Policy applies to websites owned or operated by Cheminova A/S.  This policy describes our practices regarding collection, use, and disclosure of personal information that you may provide via this website and cookies etc. If you do not agree with the terms herein, please do not use this website and delete the cookies placed by the website.

 

Privacy policy
This website has been created to provide information about our company, products and services. The website is geared to a general audience and Cheminova does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. This document is designed to provide you with information on which data we gather while you are browsing our website and how the data is used. Your personal data will not be used for other purposes without your explicit approval.

 

Collecting data
When you visit our website, general data is collected automatically (in other words, not by means of registration). This may include Non-Personally Identifiable Information such as Internet Protocol (IP) address. The data is not stored as personal related data, and may be analyzed in anonymized form and used solely for the purpose of improving the attractiveness, content and functionality of our website.

 

Collecting and processing personal data
Personally Identifiable Information (that is, information that can be uniquely identified with You, such as Your full name, address, e-mail address, phone number, and so on), is collected when you provide us with this in the course of e.g. registration, by filling out forms or sending emails, and in the course of ordering products or services, inquiries or requests for material. By voluntarily providing and submitting this information to us, You knowingly consent to Our use of this information in accordance with this Privacy Policy. You are under no obligation to provide this personally identifiable information to us.

 

As a global group Cheminova may transfer personal data collected by us on an aggregated or individual level to various divisions, subsidiaries, joint ventures and affiliated companies of Cheminova A/S (“Cheminova Group”) around the world located inside or outside the European Economic Area for the purposes stated above, as well to data processors outside of Cheminova for storage and service purposes. Personal data will not be disclosed by us or by persons instructed by us to anyone outside the Cheminova Group without your consent unless required under applicable legislation.

 

Cheminova registers the data you enter in your resume when you apply for a job or subscribe to our Candidate pool.

 

Our job website is developed in cooperation with a third party, HR Manager in Denmark. HR Manager provides software and stores the data on behalf of Cheminova. HR Manager does not have access to your data and your data cannot be used by third party companies other than Cheminova. When you push 'accept', you thereby grant permission to Cheminova to process and store the data you enter in your resume.

 

You can always update and see your resume data. You can make an update on the same page from where you created the resume. If you are on a holiday or for some other reason you do not want to have your resume active online, you can choose to deactivate it, just like you are able to revoke your accept and delete your resume at any time. You must use your username and password.

 

Which data cannot be registered
According to legislation there are cases where your resume contains information on racial or ethnical background, political, religious or philosophical convictions and persuasions, union affiliation and information on health and sexuality. Cheminova has no interest in such information and encourages you to avoid including this in your resume. Even so, if your resume contains such information, and you accept these terms and conditions, you also give permission to Cheminova A/S to register this information.

 

Data retention
We store personal data for as long as it is necessary to perform a service that you have requested or for which you have granted your permission.

 

Security
We employ reasonable security measures to protect the information you have provided from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. However no Internet transmission is ever 100% secure or error-free. Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information that you transmit to us and you understand that any information that you transfer to us is done at your own risk. In particular, e-mail sent to or from the website may not be secure, and you should therefore take special care in deciding what information you send to us via e-mail. These sites and their contents are provided “as is” and “with all faults” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, HR Manager and Cheminova A/S disclaim all express or implied warranties or responsibility for any lack in data security.

The cookie may transmit information via your browser with a purpose of authenticating or identifying the computer (via e.g. the IP address) or the user.
